Police were already investigating Carl Bridges after allegations surfaced involving sexual abuse of young boys.
In late February, two teenage boys under 17 told police that Bridges touched them inappropriately at Bridge's house, where teenage boys hang out with the man, investigators said.
During the investigation, police obtained information that Bridges had child pornography with images of boys under 17 and sought a search warrant.
Police executed a search warrant at his home in the 25000 block of Magnolia Lane in Splendora. Investigators seized a computer, cameras, recordings and say they found adult and child pornography in his southeast Montgomery County home.
Possession of child pornography is a third-degree felony punishable by two to 10 years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine.
Bridges was a former funeral director and funeral home manager at Earthman Funeral Directors in Houston (which is now owned by Service Corporation International, NYSE:SCI).
Update: Various reports, including AAA Bail Bonds, show Carl Andrew Bridges as a wanted fugitive, after skipping out of town while out on bond.
